University/Department: University of Wyoming: Molecular Biology
Why did you decide to go on the Yanayacu Research Trip? I have never been out of the country. I always loved insects. I thought it would be a good opportunity.
What was the most important thing you learned? There are more opportunities, in this life, than I ever thought possible. I want to travel.
How has this experience changed you? I learned how to see more detail. I appreciate nature more.
What are your plans for the future? I will finish my bachelor's degree and then get a teaching degree in secondary education biology/chemistry. I want to bring the field experience to the classroom.
What advice would you give a young scientist? Ask questions! If you have questions, ask and keep and open mind.If you would like to ask Angela a question about science, please email her at: [email protected]
