Why did you decide to go on the Yanayacu Research Trip?  It is a good field experience and I get to see a different environment and ecosystem.


What was the most important thing you learned?  Learning the diversity of plants insects and how each one is important as the other.


How has this experience changed you?    It has reinforced my decision to go into entomology either by working in the field or going on to study for my PhD.


What are your plans for the future?  Work for an entomology related organization, like APHIS or the EPA, or study for my PhD.

What advice would you give a young scientist?  Get a lot of experience by taking as many classes and do as many field experiences as you can.  The only way to learn is to do it.
