Why did you decide to go on the Yanayacu Research Trip?  I want to explore the world.  This was a way to explore the rainforest.  I learn so much more coming with scientist rather than a tour group.

What was the most important thing you learned?  To be adventurous.  It was a good experience to be around people who are excited about the little things.   Spiders, normally people squish them, here people don't.

How has this experience changed you?   It made me realize that I want to be an outdoor adventurer and explore the world.

What are your plans for the future?  I am going to get my degree in Spanish and speak Spanish everyday and travel.

What advice would you give a young scientist?  Don't get discouraged.  No matter what you like someone else is excited about it too.
