Why did you decide to go on the Yanayacu Research Trip?  I am interested in sciences and I got to go to Ecuador.

What was the most important thing you learned?  A group of diverse people who take a trip together can gain a valuable experience together.

How has this experience changed you?  I have immersed myself in nature, unlike any other experience I have had.  It is no longer  just a faceless goal to preserve nature and beauty.

What are your plans for the future?  I don't know.  I am not sure if I am going to keep this major.  Maybe change to Marine Biology.  Law school is an option.  I would like to study international environmental law.  I also want to travel.

What advice would you give a young scientist?  Seize the moment.  Just do it!  Spend time away from your comfort zone.  Take that first step
