Why did you decide to go on the Yanayacu Research Trip? Because I wanted to go to a cloud forest in this area and I wanted to go to Ecuador. It worked well with my studies.
What was the most important thing you learned? Things require more than a glance to understand them and let go of assumptions. Take a second look.
How has this experience changed you? I have gained an appreciation for variety.
What are your plans for the future? I want to spend and extensive time abroad and study abroad and incorporate that into my studies. I would like to do Peace Corps.
What advice would you give a young scientist? Look deeper!
